PROGRAM'S BACKGROUND

This program covers the applications of the modern Distributed Control System (DCS). It is intended for the Instrument Technicians/Foremen/Supervisors with some related experience in the field. It aims to enhance their existing knowledge, develop respective job skills and promote attitudes towards safety, economy and quality of work. The program mainly covers the applications of the modern distributed control system (DCS). Whilst all control systems are distributed to a certain extent, there is a definite merging of the concepts of DCS, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and SCADA.
