PROGRAM'S BACKGROUND

This program gives the candidates a thorough understanding of the piping systems for various applications in process plants including process piping systems, steam systems piping, compressed air piping systems, oil pipe line systems, fire protection systems, slurry & sludge piping, fibber glass piping systems, cross country pipelines etc. The program covers various applicable piping codes covering these requirements and its practical use as illustrated with numerous case studies. The program emphasizes understanding of stated and implied requirements (i.e. content and intent) of the code.

PROGRAM'S OBJECTIVES

This Program’s Attendees Will Be More Able To:

›       Acquire the basics of system design of piping

›       Learn basic design, detailed design and construction requirements for process piping systems, steam systems piping, compressed air piping systems, oil pipe line systems, fire protection systems, slurry & sludge piping, fiber glass piping systems, cross country pipelines

›       Be introduce participants with various design conditions, design rules, including the design optimization techniques

›       Be able to understand limitations imposed by this code on material for construction for pressure components

›       How to conduct and certify the pressure testing

›       Learn the techniques and procedures used in the design and engineering of complex process piping, including use of codes and standards
