PROGRAM'S BACKGROUND


Wells and fields have different characteristics that affect the type of solution best suited for automation/optimization. These characteristics involve more than just the volume of fluids that are being produced. Wells in shallow production, typically heavy oil producers, require different features than deep wells. Producing sand wells require different features than producing clean fluid wells

This comprehensive program on rod pumping is a complete solution for getting participants to understand how to optimize rod-pumped wells through wellsite automation and data analysis and by integrating rod pump controllers (RPCs), variable speed motor drives, remote diagnostic software, and communication systems, It will enables operators to properly optimize rod-pumped wells This program covers the necessary skills to enable all participants to maximize rod pumping efficiency as participants will be introduced to the design, operation, analysis and troubleshooting of rod pumping systems. Through this program, participants will also gain important knowledge on rods and tubing and learn about how to use and maintain unit pumpers, pump jacks and prime movers including electric motors and gas engines.
